***STUDENTS*** Missed the Regional Scholarship Deadline? DON'T PANIC! It has been extended!!

ree

Hello, Carolinas Region Chapter Advisors and current two-year college students!

Some of you may have see the post on Facebook yesterday from the Alpha Omega Alumni Association President regarding this. If you haven't, here is the reason for that decision:

Due to a lack of submissions this year for the "Papa" John Sharpe Scholarship and the Joan Keller Scholarship, your alumni association executive team has decided to give you one more shot at submission! I'm sure some of your application packets were SO CLOSE to be completed! We would hate to see $500 for each of these NOT get awarded this year and presented at Convention in March!

NEW DEADLINE WILL BE SEPTEMBER 22ND, 2025 AT 11:59 P.M.

This will give the students an extra THREE weeks to complete!!

Please make sure all of the required documents are uploaded and that the Recommendation letters have been received by Alpha Omega's Alumni Advisor team!

The scholarship packets can be located on the Regional Facebook page under files or in the pinned section, via email (advisors, you should have also received copies in your email boxes at the end of Honors in June, and several times throughout the summer in the Advisor Tips and Tricks emails. An additional email will be sent to you during the first week of September), as well as below.

Here is an outline of the requirements for each scholarship.

Please share these with your chapter members.

Good Luck! - Alpha Omega Carolinas Region Alumni Association Leadership Team

Conditions of Eligibility for both scholarships:

Applicants must be an active Phi Theta Kappa member in good standing and currently enrolled at a two-year college in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Bermuda:
